CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — October 14, 2019. On October 11, 2019, Mavendog’s founder and president, Jon Vordermark, was asked to speak and facilitate the Association of Charlotte Area Consultants (ACAC) October meeting. Mr. Vordermark presented on effective client management strategies in project management and consulting. During the presentation, he discussed a broader concept and definition of “client” and the do’s and don’ts of building and managing those relationships, and their impact on project success.

The ACAC was created to connect local consulting experts who are dedicated to sharing industry insights and collaborating to build better practices through regular meetings and connecting opportunities. “The ACAC is a prestigious resource of Charlotte consultants. Its aim is simple – to support one another in our consultative careers and lifestyle,” stated Mr. Vordermark.

Each month the organization meets for a midday break of lunch and relationship-building, highlighted by a facilitated discussion presented by a rotating area expert among the membership. Sherré DeMao, Director of ACAC and Strategy Maestro of BizGrowth Inc. explained, “ACAC is not a leads group. We are a collaborative community comprised of an elite group of consultants filling valuable needs in the global marketplace through our expertise, resources, and proven successes with clients.”

ACAC members are given the opportunity to facilitate a meeting, share insights, from their area of expertise and best practices to stimulate discussion and sharing within the group. When asked about his experience, Mr. Vordermark remarked, “It is enriching. The knowledge exchange highlights how each ACAC member’s perspective is unique, and how the collective ACAC knowledge is priceless. I’d encourage anyone with a consulting career to be a part of the ACAC.
