Press Release: Mavendog Engages Stephanie Lawson to Lead Investigative Analysis (IA) Division
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina—September 25, 2017—Mavendog announced today that Stephanie Lawson is joining Mavendog as a Principal Consultant and Practice Area Lead of the Investigative Analysis Services (IAS) practice. Stephanie will be working alongside Managing Director and Founder Jon Vordermark. As Practice Area Lead, she is not only the lead consultant and thought leader of Mavendog-IAS methodology development and execution, but also a coach and mentor to fellow IAS consultants.
Stephanie is a professional and academic leader in competitive intelligence; custom survey design; statistical analysis; data reporting and dashboards; and custom modeling. "I am excited to have Stephanie as a Mavendog resource. She helps in our efforts to innovate our IA service by injecting it with market analysis and value realization." Investigative Analysis is a senior-level consultative service with experts in market analysis, business planning, issue and risk analysis and mitigation; process design; and requirements planning. Most importantly, IA offers evaluations of a project's long term viability and Return On Investment (ROI). Not only does it help clients with various ad-hoc analytical needs, but it also allows us to make a full, end-to-end determinations of project success.
Stephanie earned a B.A. in Communication, and an MBA and Ph.D. in Business from Florida State University. She has taught Marketing for almost 10 years and is currently an Assistant Professor of Marketing for Winthrop University. Her research interests include the sharing economy, with marketing research of such companies as Netflix, Uber, and AirBnB (research published in the Journal of Business Research). Prior to her academic career, Stephanie provided consulting, marketing management and competitive research for 10 years.
