Gary is one of our Mavendog strategic advisors. He has over 30 years of experience of project and product management. Throughout this career, Gary has contributed thought leadership and practical knowledge in the evolution of software project management best practices, including software development methodologies; software development tools; project office programs; and software acquisition strategies. His technical experience includes system architecture and integration design for early SaaS (Software-As-A-Service) vendor products and strategies for the use of message-based brokers (web-services) for enterprise application products. His technology strategy experience includes application transition road-maps, software procurement practices, and vendor management strategies. Gary has held technology consulting and product management roles with Broadway & Seymour, Texas Instruments, LBMS, and Clark American Checks. As an independent consultant, Gary has extensive experience drafting and negotiating software product/service contracts and has performed forensic consulting and risk management in cases of failed projects and vendor-client disputes. Gary earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Wright State University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
